Usui Reiki Shiki Ryoho Training
As part of her Reiki Master training, Melanie Glanville organises and attends Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 training courses, workshops and events with her highly respected Reiki Master, Tripuri Dunne and honours the lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata and Furumoto.
Reiki Level 1 “Shoden”
The Reiki Level 1 course, or ‘first degree’, is held between 2 and 4 consecutive days in Clapham South, South West London. Recipients receive four attunements and are initiated into the Reiki Usui system by Reiki Master, Tripuri Dunne. You will learn about the history of Reiki through the oral tradition, benefiting from Tripuri’s considerable experience, wisdom and knowledge. You will learn how to self-treat with Reiki, and will have plenty of opportunity to practice a sequence of hand movements so that you can give Reiki to yourself as well as friends and family, emphasising good practice and ethics.
Reiki Level 1 introduces the practice of self-treatment on a daily basis and encourages recipients to take responsibility for their own well being. Once a Reiki student has been initiated into the system, they will hold Reiki in their hands for life.
Courses are kept to a small number of students to allow individual attention and optimal integration of the new learning. You will receive a certificate at the end of the course and are invited to share your progress after 21 days with a review session, an informal opportunity to swap your experiences and ask any questions.

Reiki Level 2 “Okuden”
Reiki Level 2 course, known as ‘Second Degree’, is for those who have undertaken Reiki Level 1 and wish to develop their Reiki training further. You are encouraged to leave a gap of three – six months from the first degree course before embarking upon Reiki Level 2.
Second degree initiation is for those who wish to practice Reiki at a deeper level. The focus of the course will be on using Reiki without touch, known as distance healing, learning tools to further support your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. By deepening your connection, you will learn ways to incorporate Reiki into all areas of your life, applying Reiki to the past, present and future.
The course takes place over 2 days in Clapham South, South West London.
